During the brainstorming process of building the world of Leea’doch in this novel, I have taken part in many important decisions. This page highlights some of the critical choices which I had to go through during development.

Ni'vim and the Sha'reena

How should Ni’vim and her race, the Sha’reena, look like?


I planned to make the Sha’reena an avian, humanoid, intelligent species that evolved in another world. However, this was tricky as I had to search for zoological knowledge to see how I could do this.

It was also essential to make Ni’vim’s appearance stand out from other avian humanoids. Working together with Alejandro Colucci (book designer for the Witcher series), I gave him the following details:

The Eternal Reflection symbol is the most crucial in the entire novel series since it represents essential philosophical and spiritual concepts.
